I created Strullina, a puppet (ostrich) and a character who has become my alter ego and creative companion. Strullina is a puppet that I give a voice to, and through her I share my artistic work on social media. With her, I present my sketches, my projects, and the creative process that leads to the final artworks. My studio is divided into two areas. On one side there is Caterina, the artist, where my original artworks is created and produced. On the other side there is Strullina, my lighter, more playful, ironic, and communicative alter ego. This is where my watercolors and ideas come to life, and where they can eventually develop into works of art. And at the heart of both there is one word that has a fundamental meaning for me: INCLUSION!!!
